The Problem

Between the years 2017 and 2020, there are close to 1200 alleged animal cruelty and abuse cases each year

Animal Abuse

In 2020, ACRES estimated around 20 puppy mills are located in remote corners of Singapore that are rarely visited by people.

Puppy Mills

With more rescue operations, some animal shelters are facing a lack of space to cater to these animals.

Hey Buddy!

A one-stop information mobile phone application for pet owners

Hey Buddy! encourages pet adoption and educates users on their responsibilities as pet owners. Unlike other adoption apps, this app helps potential pet owners find a pet that suits their lifestyle and includes a simulation that provides the user with a virtual opportunity to interact and know more about the pet outside of the shelter.
The simulation results are shared with animal shelters that can help gauge whether the user is suitable or for the user to see if the pet fits their lifestyle.
